Encouraging Curiosity...

From the moment of birth, babies are gathering information from every experience. Infants and toddlers thrive in an environment that encourages curiosity and supports exploration!

Serving infants and toddlers from ages 6 weeks to 2 years.

  • Our infants and toddlers are split into two groups.
  • Rooms are arranged to meet the developmental needs of the children they serve.
  • Daily events run as closely to a natural routine as possible, allowing our infants and toddlers to feel secure and engaged as they explore the world around them.
  • We maintain safe child/teacher ratios which means each room has 2 to 3 caregivers, based on the number of children.
  • Each day, infants and toddlers are offered learning activities and appropriate materials to encourage learning and growth based on their developmental stage.
  • We use the Brightwheel app as a parent/teacher communication platform and attendance check. Teachers can keep records of feedings, naps, diaper/potty habits, post pictures and report important incidents within this private portal to which only you have access!

Daily Routine

We understand that infants and toddlers do best when daily events are routine, but flexibility is also necessary! We strive to find a happy medium by following a daily flow of event that allows each day to reflect the moods of our children.  Each day will incorporate the following elements:

Inspiring Play

Children will spend the morning engaged with materials and toys chosen

to inspire both cognitive and physical growth and development.

Stories and Songs

Our children will enjoy listening to stories, singing songs and learning rhymes together.

All these activities are important to building early language and literacy skills

Meals and Snacks

Lunch will be served according to what each family provides. Snacks will be provided

by the center for children who eat solid foods. Infants will follow their natural eating schedule.

Naptime

Napping schedules will be arranged and may vary to meet the needs of the infants
and toddlers in each home group
